On arrival in Maldives at Male International Airport, visit the Villa Hotels Counter for your 20 minute speedboat transfer to Paradise Island. Paradise Island is a large resort offers a choice of accommodation in beach bungalows or in over water villas. These were damaged in the Tsunami of 2004 after our visit. As these been reconstructed they may differ from images shown here, taken during our 2003 visit. Buffets are served in the coffee shop in the main building which also has a speciality Japanese restaurant. There are a la carte restaurants at the ends of the island.
