at Male airport, where resort staff welcome and escort them to a private
lounge to await the short seaplane flight to Kanuhura.
Location
One&Only Kanuhura is located on one of the islands of Lhaviyani
Atoll, to the northeast of the Maldives in the Indian Ocean. Travel
is by seaplane taxi, around 35 minutes from the International Airport
at the Maldives capital, Male. The island measures approx. 1000 meters
in length and 200 meters in width, with a North-South orientation.
Facilities
One&Only Kanuhura features five star facilities and amenities, highlighting
the customary character of the region. The Veyoge Spa has its own lavish
pavilion, complete with a health and beauty center, with separate amenities
for ladies and gents. For total beauty treatment, the Beauty Salon offers
hair care, manicure, pedicure and personalized make-up. Aerobics, meditation
and workouts at the Gymnasium are also part of the spa. Dining at One&Only
Kanuhura is a unique pleasure as a result of the variety of dishes offered
at its three main restaurants: Thin Rah, Olive Tree and The Veli Cafe.
Guests may also choose to dine in the privacy of their Villa.
Services
The property is managed by an experienced team of managers and service
staff recruited from well-known international hotels. There are over
ten major languages spoken by staff, including English, Japanese, German,
Italian, French, Spanish, Chinese and Russian.
